For both my eldest children I have always used the “traditional” baby carrier which am sure every one knows, if you don’t know this is a carrier you wear on your chest which you put the baby in securely and so your able to have your hand free to do whatever you want.
I have only used these carriers because they are the ones I was used to and was familiar with.
Now with the twins I wanted something different from the norm and for a few years I seen the baby wrap being used by a lot of people. Now am gonna lie, at first I though how can you carry a baby in that flimsy looking cloth? it did not look safe to me or strong compared to the ones I had used before and the fact that it was used from the front just made me feel quite uncomfortable and scared for the babies I saw being carried in them.
I know in a lot of if not all African countries many mothers carry their babies on the back using a large clothes to secure them tightly and they are able to literally do everything with their baby tied to their back. From gardening, to planting crops, to washing clothes, to fetching water etc they do it all and I take my hat off for them because I don’t think I could what they do.
So after seeing so many women using this flimsy cloth as I called it ( its not actually flimsy its very strong) I decided to give it a go though my partner decided to stick to the traditional one.
The instructions that came with it did not make sense yet the pictures kinda did so instead of making mistakes I went to my trusted source YouTube and I was able to learn how to tie which was very easy though I thought it would be hard. I can take you I AM IN LOVE with this cloth! It is so soft, I love the grey colour am loving gray right now, its stretchy so the baby can sit securely in there and its also thin enough to use in summer so you wont get hot using it.
I literally carried my son for almost an hour and a half and my back did not hurt, I was not hot and sweaty as it was hot that day, he was not uncomfortable, he was able to look around and also the closeness with him and me was so lovely and beautiful. I am definitely going to continue using it for as long as I can and need it and I will see how it works and manages when my boy is a little bit bigger.

So lately I have been feeling some type of way, actually tell a lie lol this feeling has been with me for a hot minute. I have been vlogging my lifestyle coming to 3 years now and i feel I am in limbo sometimes. In the beginning I used to upload every week then I went up to twice a week and now since I had the twins I have not followed a set schedule because with new borns you can’t plan too much and when you do things don’t go to plan so I tend to upload whenever I get time to edit and do some work. Recently the channel has hit 102 subscribers which am grateful for but I feel like my channel is just stuck in one place and not going anywhere which demotivates me. We all have targets we want to achieve in life and I wanted my channel to be a bit more further along than where it is now.
Being that am a stay at home mum I thought this would have been a good way to make a little income ( which is not going as planned lol) as well as preserve some memories of our family life.
I feel like am doing something wrong or am not providing the right content which make me feel like vlogging is not for me. I watch a few lifestyle vloggers whose vlogs are on the same wave length as mine and their channels are doing brilliant and mine is just mehn. Some of them started the same time as me and some after me so its not like they have been doing it for 10 years and me 3.
I even sometimes think maybe its the camera am using which is a bit ridiculous or the editing software, though with the software( I use Adobe premiere elements) I find that most people use the Apple laptop editing one which seems way better than Adobe.
So please go watch a few of my vlogs and leave me some feedback below as to how I can improve and make the channel better and successful because at this point am at a lost end. I enjoy doing vlogs and I would like to continue doing them to share how my small world lives and goes through life’s ups and downs.

Hey guys, so it’s been awhile since i have done a blog post and the last few months have been time i have taken to work out some life changes. I have not really posted on my social media platforms either which is quite different for me as am always posting something lol.
But i am hoping to get back to blogging ASAP though i might focus more on my lifestyle but we shall see. Onto a better note the kids have broken off for summer holidays (yes!!!) So happy as i don’t have to do school runs and be up at the break of dawn! Though i need to find places and ways to entertain these kids.
Oh my fifi (faith) has finished primary school this year and will be going to secondary school in September 😭😭😢. I just can’t get over her going to secondary school she’s still my litttle baby girl but i thank god for bringing her this far and now its a new chapter for her which am sure she will enjoy.
So thats some of the stuff that’s been going on in my household and i hope you all are having a brilliant summertime/break.

Hey guys hope you all had a lovely Christmas and are having a good beginning to the new year. Now that the festive season is out of the way I have returned to working out and eating better. So with my eating I chose to eat healthier and pick better options of what to eat. It’s quite difficult as I have a family and I do not want to have two separate shopping lists as it could because quite expensive,but I have been able to find groceries that the whole family can enjoy and is good for us all as well as fulfill my eating requirements.
S M O O T H I E S
The other food I have tried to eat is smoothies, and for the life in me I can not consume them!. I have tried twice to drink them but they just do not come out as I want them to. I know they are good for you and they can help in one’s journey to healthy eating. My first issue is that they have bits in them, now this might sound childish but I can’t stand having seeds in my smoothie it’s just not tasty for me and it means I have to chew them which I don’t like the taste.
The other issue is that its cold. I for one have sensitive teeth and can’t really drink or eat cold stuff, then there is the issue of drinking a smoothie in winter! like who wants to do that? ( I know some like them in winter lol), in winter am already cold so to drink a cold smoothie just doesn’t make sense to me. So that’s my dilemma with smoothies. I would like to find one which is both warm and good for you so please if you know any leave your suggestions in the comment section below.

So last the last two years I have had gym memberships as I felt going to an actual gym would motivate me to go and work out which it did in the beginning as in the beginning I was your all excited to begin this new journey and change your my fitness. The first gym I went to was quite expensive but I stayed with them for the year as the contractor was for a a year so when it was up I left them. Then I went to this other one which was a lot cheaper and with this one I got my routine down and set certain days to go and work out. I stuck to my routine until I went on holiday then I kinda of took a break from it during the summer months. My year contract was coming to an end and i had not used it for a while and I was paying for it so I decided to cancel it.
Then I had an idea instead of going into a another year contract, why can’t I buy some weights and work out at home? and that is exactly what I have done.

The above weights are exactly similar to the ones I have bought and I use them in conjunction with a Xbox workout CD called Your shape -Fitness evolved 2012 which I really think is one of the best if not the best CD workout I have ever used. I use it to do the HIIT workout which I am doing for the very first time but I have heard it’s a lot better than slaving in the gym doing cardio for an hour when you can get it don’t in 7 minutes!!. The fact I can feel the aches in my body is a sign that its doing something lol. I use the weights with a workout plan my fitness instructor brother-in-law gave me which I used throughout last summer. He broke it down to be done in three days which each focus on a different part of your body so legs, arms and stomach.
So for now I am going to workout from home which I hope I will stick to and try to eat foods that are good for my body ( obviously we have to have a cheat day lol ;-)) I will try and update you all on how its going.
