Heyyyy guys I know this might seem small or unimportant to some people but I want to say thank you! to all those that follow my blog.
50 followers may seem small but not to me I don’t even think I have 50 friends lol. I have had my blog for 3 years this year and at one point I stopped posting content because I got de-motivated and disheartened because I was looking at other people’s following growing and mine wasn’t and I did not like it or think people were interested in what I had to say but I came back from having my twin babies more motivates than ever and I am putting in work and it’s paying off.
I am really gratefully for you guys because it tell’s me that my content is good and it’s helpfully to some people out there.
People keep saying that the blogging world is dead or dying but I don’t think it is, it’s just going through changes and am going to be one that sticks with it because I actually love doing it.
I love doing research into different topics and learning new things which am able to pass onto you.
Once again thank you guys for following my blog I really appreciate it, thank you for taking the time to read it and don’t forget to leave me a comment letting me know what you think of the content I produce and you can also share with your family and friends.
Love me x
So I have been blogging for 2 years now and my topics range from parenthood to fashion to makeup/skincare. At one point I thought maybe I should focus on one niche as that’s what most bloggers do and advice you to do but I thought I don’t just like one thing, I like a number of things and would like to share my opinion on all that interest me. So I decided to pick a number of topics that I felt passionate about and make me me and these were parenthood as am a mum, fashion as I enjoy putting together outfits and getting all dressed up, and skincare, who doesn’t like to take care of their skin.
My first year of blogging was me being very excited to have a blog where I was able to express myself and do what I want, it was my little corner where I would pour out all my feelings and stress and leave it there, then I got pregnant with the twins and I slacked a bit because all I wanted to do was sleep as this pregnancy was taking it all out of me. But overt the last 4 months I decided to really work on my blogging and take it to the next level and so I started to look into ways to improve my topics and really think about what I wanted to share with the world.
I started to read and take interest in other blogs like mine and as much as I found them motivating, they also made me feel quite intimidated and started doubting myself If really this is something I should be doing or is it really for me and being a prayerful person I prayed about it and asked God to give me a sign if this career is for me because no matter how much you try if its not meant for you, its not for you. As I was looking through these blogs it seemed like I needed to have quite a lot of money in order to buy the latest fashion style because it seemed like they were always on point with the latest trends and someone like me can’t afford to be splashing the cash because I don’t have an extra disposable income. This made me think that maybe this is why I don’t have a big following because I cant afford the trendy stuff which demotivated me.
(NON SPONSORED) During my research I found this blogger called Marina De Giovanni who is a very successful blogger and business coach among other things. She wrote an e-book called “a lifestyle bloggers guide” which I bought skeptically but once I started reading it I quickly reached for my paper and pen because she was talking knowledge that I understood and not gibberish. She took it back to basic from setting up your blog site to your first blog post to finding a topic. This to me was a sign because once I finished the book I knew what to do and where to take my blog and I have been on a hype since then.
I have come to realize that fashion is what you make it, yes you should try and buy the latest fashion but if you cant, some of the new trends are the same ones that came out 5 years ago which means you probably have them in your wardrobe you just have to dust them off and put your own twist to it and your up to date.
But remember always stay true to your passion and what you love because this is you life and your career.

I am not a massive fan of necklaces and I really don’t wear them. Being that I get heat rash in summer I don’t wear them as they irritate my neck and in winter they are cold lol (I know am weird). But I have found a necklace that I absolutely LOVE! and its comfortable on my skin what ever season. So Chokers are my best friends right now (though my partner don’t like their name).
I have always thought how do they breath? ain’t it too tight?( I know stupid) but since it is the IT jewellery accessory I thought let me give it a try and boy I have not stopped buying them lol. They come in different colours as well as sizes and style which give you versatility. I love them.
